Judgment in claims arising from alleged breach of employment contract and misuse of company information. The defendant who had left to start a rival model agency was found to have breached the contract and the claimants were partially successful in obtaining further injunctive relief and damages.

Caterpillar Logistics Services (UK) Ltd v De Crean [2011] EWCA Civ 1671
Application for permission to appeal decision to dismiss a claim, and discharge undertakings, where the applicant employer was seeking to prevent the defendant employee from working on a key agreement with her new employer, who was a customer of the applicant and at the time renegotiating the agreement between them. Permission allowed.

Dandpat v University of Bath [2010] EWCA Civ 305
Application to appeal against decision of the EAT not to award interim relief to the claimant who was pursuing a claim for unfair dismissal resulting from protected disclosures. The claimant first argued that oral submissions should have been heard as well as written evidence read. He also argued that the court should revisit the definition of the word 'likely' as described in Taplin v Shippam Ltd and conclude that the test of likelihood of success should be lower in this case. Application refused.
