R (on the application of UNISON) v Lord Chancellor [2017] UKSC 51
The Supreme Court as today ruled that the Fees Order is unlawful under both domestic and EU law because it has the effect of preventing access to justice. Since it had that effect as soon as it was made, it was therefore unlawful and must be quashed.

Consultation on Vento bands uprating published
The Presidents of the Employment Tribunals of England & Wales and Scotland have released a consultation document which suggests how the so-called Vento bands could be amended to take into account the rate of change of inflation since Da'Bell v NSPCC and the Simmons v Castle 10% uplift.
