Zero Hours Contracts: should we use them and, if so, how?

Webcast presented by Kathy Daniels, Aston University. Recorded February 2016.

Zero hours contracts, used in the right way, can be a useful framework for working for both employer and worker. But the employment status of such workers is often uncertain to determine and so employers need to be aware of their limitations.

In this webcast, Kathy Daniels explores the legal concepts underpinning the contracts and provides insights as to when such arrangements might prove suitable.

Includes coverage of the new protections available to workers on zero hours contracts introduced by the Exclusivity Terms in Zero Hours Contracts (Redress) Regulations 2015?.
