Acas has published new guidance aimed at helping employers understand age discrimination under the Equality Act.

The guidance covers

*  Overview of age discrimination * Key areas where age discrimination may happen * Risks of stereotyping people because of age * Risks of using ageist language * When different treatment because of age may be allowed * Making a claim for age discrimination

The guidance also sets out to dispel some of what they think are the myths around age discrimination.
