MoJ has refunded £1.8m of employment tribunal fees so far

Total relates to just over 2,000 payments

Government statistics published this week show that the MoJ has so far refunded just over £1.8m of the unlawful fees they charged for making an application to the Employment Tribunal between 2013 and last year's Supreme Court decision in the [Unison]() **case.

The figure relates to a total of 2,151 payments made.

So far the department has received 4,869 applications of which 2,660 have been processed.
