Judge Shona Simon, President of Employment Tribunals (Scotland), retires

Judge Shona Simon has retired as President of Employment Tribunals (Scotland) after 13 years in the role.

Judge Simon was admitted as a solicitor in 1992 and she was appointed as a salaried Employment Judge in 2000, as Vice President of Employment Tribunals (Scotland) in 2004 and as President of Employment Tribunals (Scotland) in 2009.

We are very grateful to Judge Simon for writing a foreword to the Employment Tribunal Remedies Handbook over the last few years. We wish her a very happy retirement.

The new President is Judge Susan Walker, the previous Vice President, and she took up her position on 16 July 2022.
