Free digital edition of the Employment Tribunal Remedies Handbook 2016-17: Offer extended
The 2016-17 edition of the Employment Tribunal Remedies Handbook has now been sent to the printers.
Everyone who has ordered the book should have received an email containing a link to the free digital edition. Printed books should reach customers by the end of August.
We are extending our offer of the free digital edition until 29 August if you order the printed book before then. So, for just £40 you will receive the print and digital bundle containing everything you need to know about remedies in the Employment Tribunal.
What's new in the 2016-17 edition?
We are delighted to welcome a new General Editor, Benjamin Gray of Littleton Chambers. Our thanks go to James Wynne who has done an excellent job as General Editor for the last two years but who, because of work commitments, has reluctantly had to relinquish this role.
As well as the figures being updated, the book has been thoroughly revised to include changes in legislation and recent case law including:
whether the Simmons v Castle* uplift applies to awards for injury to feelings and whether the award should be taxed; * grossing up (how not to calculate it!); * new penalties for recalcitrant employers; * zero-hours contracts; * National Living Wage.
